The task

Give a specialist access to the station screen, pumping data and conversation without travelling to the site. A viewer should be able to open the session on a computer or phone, with its history linked to the account.

A connected system

A Rust Windows client publishes the screen. The Go backend connects users, permissions, live sessions and archives; the account and viewer interfaces use SvelteKit. Updates use WebSocket with SSE as a fallback. I developed every part of the product and its deployment infrastructure.

Operating context

The product is designed for field work and unreliable connectivity. The public service continues to evolve; equipment remains controlled at the station. The service provides a remote view and session history while people make the operational decisions.
